Forget the stupid name, forget that it doesn’t have support for Flash/ Java, forget that it doesn’t have a camera, the Apple iPad can still bring electronic board games to a new level. Animations and lower cost since there isn’t a need to print and make stuff out of plastics or wood, board games could yet be made even more accesible than it is now.
In case you are wondering how you can play with friends, well you can go through Wifi. Now we just need all our friends to splurge US$499 (minimum) on this product.
Should we start looking at a change in our business? Maybe an official Mac store instead.

Well, you could start by rewarding your loyal customers (*cough* Marcus *cough*) with a free i-Pad… Plus some discount on e-board games bought from your store.

@friedricetheman We can give you free pads. Though not sure if it was any use to you.
We can tag on the “i” on the labels

I would’nt mind an i-pad, as per pic above. However the boardgaming experience i look forward to has much to do with the components of the game. be it tokens, cards, fake money, wooden bits. Nothing in a gaming perspective beats ripping of shrink wrap from youir brand new game and punching out all the card board bits!

I’m actually buying an i-pad for my wife.
But it will be used exclusively as an ebook.
