GACC

During the weekend, gamers at Malacca got a real treat when the Games, Anime, Comics Circle 2007 were held in Multimedia University Malacca. We were invited to be present at this convention which featured collectible toys, anime movies and series, trading card games, board games and miniatures.

We took the opportunity to expose the gaming crowd to a plethora of different games. For board games, we took out Battlelore, Citadels and Blokus and Citadels proved to be the crowd favourite. For trading card games, World of Warcraft TCG demos were held and there was even a Sealed tournament ran by the friendly MMU students.

Last but not least, miniatures grabbed the attention when people walked past us mainly because our Rackham display were so beautifully painted. The Wolfen figurines pulled in a few curious onlookers. Not only that, they were also impressed with the quality of AT-43 prepainted figurines. We even managed to demo the game to a few guys and two of them even played out the entire six missions in the book!

All in all, it was a great experience and we will certainly be there next year if we are invited again. Oh yeah, I suggest you guys try to make it as well. It is quite an experience.

ps: The MMU guys are also quite talented. Their opening anime sequence was fantastic!
