Outpost @ Cineleisure Damansara recently approached us to help marshall some games for a birthday party. Of course, it was great exposure for us and it was also good to give these group of 15-year olds an idea of what non-electronic gaming is all about.
We started them off with Saboteur and they had a great time with it. It took us from 9pm to about 10pm with a few breaks in between as the good looking birthday boy had to entertain some female guests (they weren’t so interested in gaming afterall).
After that, it was on to AT-43, the latest prepainted miniature game to hit this side of the planet. It took them a while to grasp the rules but once they got it, they just kept rolling the dice until the cows came home. Needless to say, the Therians defeated the White Stars again and again.
We certainly had a great time showing these kids what gaming is all about and I hope they enjoyed our games as much as we enjoyed teaching it to them.
